Welp, it's been a long, scary journey but we've finally opened up our second cafe located at the newly redesigned Sol Block on Broadway Blvd. just east of Tucson Blvd. We've been hard at work getting this place ready to go and we have now soft-opened (sometimes, it doesn't seem so soft...) for our new neighbors. We are super excited to share what we've been working on.
So, what's different about our new location? The first thing you'll notice is that we have indoor seating! We love enjoying the beautiful weather we all know so well here in Tucson but sometimes we just need some A/C. Here, we will be able to provide a cool haven to have a pastry and a drink during those summer months where patio seating can get a little uncomfortable.
We also moved all of our food production to our own kitchen in the new Sol Block cafe! This gives us a little more space and time to experiment with new flavors and create new recipes. Our head baker, Nikki, is always coming up with new concoctions of pastry, ice cream, and drink flavors to try so make sure to swing by either of our cafes and see what's new.
We also love having new neighbors! At our original cafe in the MSA Annex, we were always so elated to be a part of such an amazing neighborhood of shops and restaurants and we are moving right into another amazing neighborhood at the Sol Block. Our good friends at How Sweet It Was Vintage are just a couple of doors down. The Tucson staple Rocco's is moved in to their new space here and it is gorgeous! The Broadway is an excellent new bar room with a great beer and wine selection both on tap and in bottles. Alongside Studio offers wonderful, peaceful fitness programs which just sounds like the perfect activity before relaxing with a nice coffee and pastry. There are so many more doing awesome things in the area already that you just have to come down and check it out.
So come see us! We love it here and are excited to hang out with you. There is plenty of parking on the north side of the building!
